Bed and Breakfast At Cothelstone Manor

Steeped in history and set in some of England's most outstanding countryside, Cothelstone Manor is a family home where you will receive a warm welcome.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast, with free range eggs from our own hens and locally produced sausages in the wonderful Galleried Hall, relax in the elegant drawing room with its blazing log fire in the winter or enjoy the stunning countryside.

Stay in our large comfortable twin bedroom with its own bathroom. The huge window with its pretty window seat looks out across the sunken walled garden and beautiful countryside beyond.

For dinner we recommend a couple of pubs which both serve really good food just a couple of miles away and an excellent small restaurant/wine bar set in a converted barn just down the road from us.

Cothelstone Manor is situated in the Quantock Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is close to Exmoor and the sea. National Trust properties within easy reach include Dunster Castle and Coleridge Cottage

The West Somerset Railway starts at Bishops Lydeard, a short distance from the Manor. This is the longest steam railway in the country run by volunteers and runs for 20 miles from Bishops Lydeard through beautiful countryside and along the coast to Minehead.

There are many sporting facilities and venues nearby including the Somerset County Cricket Ground and Taunton Racecourse.
